Darwinism and the appeal to authority logical fallacy. "I was only following orders"

I have found that many evolutionist often use the appeal to authority logical fallacy and the appeal to the scientific consensus. Of course, this is fallacious reasoning and there have been times when the scientific consensus was wrong and the Bible was right.  See: Scientific consensus and evolutionism and  Fallacy: Appeal to authority

There was an infamous German evolutionary racist and fascist in history named Adolf Hitler who wanted to create a "German master race" and his evolutionist followers committed many atrocities. See: Nazism and Darwinism and Darwinism and the Nazi race Holocaust

After Hitler's regime fell, his evolutionist followers often tried to excuse their heinous behavior by saying, "I was only following orders". Evolutionists, next time you feel tempted to use the appeal to authority logical fallacy, keep this in mind. Creationists do not care what the evolutionist "fuhrers" say as they use unscrupulous tactics to suppress dissent. See: Slaughter of the Dissidents and Expelled: No intelligence allowed

The Dark Darwinian History of Eugenics

  1. So if an authority is backed by emperical evidence, does it remain unequivocally unsound?
Answer: no. Infact, people who point to Darwin don't actually point to HIM specifially. They point to his observations on the Galapagos Islands with finches. Darwin had theory BACKED by evidence. That is something entirely separate from an appeal to authority.
BUT, since we are indeed talking about APPEALS TO AUTHORITY, we should definately mention the Bible. Every verse, scripture and passage this collection of 1700 year old revised and edited passages are all backed by... what? Oh yes, an authority. What's that? God? WELL WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO! It not like they could have just said that God backs them up.... could they?
It could be possible that the authority of God could be called into question by someone pointing out an appeal to authority.... but that would never happen.... right?
So. We can say to a degree of certainty that an appeal to authority exists in Science. PHDs always recieve more credit than their grad students that happen to perform most of the layman work in research.
But what about the Bible? That anonymous authority we refer to as God. We don't actually have any physical evidence of him existing, or talking, or DOING .... ANYTHING. Yet, You and I will appeal to his anonymous and unquestionable character and correctness every single time without batting an eye. So, maybe God has the most sustainable authority in the universe by the lack of any grounds to call into question his specific existence.... If you can't even provide evidence for a teapot, then how can anyone ever doubt that teapot's authority on anything....

    1. Michael,

      A few points:

      1. Are you an atheist? If so, what proof and evidence do you have that atheism is true? The reason I ask is that there is plenty of evidence that Christianity is true. See: http://questionevolution.blogspot.com/2012/09/evidence-for-christianity-websites-and.html

      2. If an evolutionists wants to use the appeal to authority logical fallacy to "defend" their evolutionism rather than empirical evidence, I certainly can't stop them. They are being illogical though as the evidence does not support evolutionism.

      3. Are you willing to have a debate centered around the 15 questions for evolutionists (see: http://creation.com/15-questions )
via a recorded oral debate which would be distributed to tens of thousands of people.

If you are confident in your evolutionary beliefs, please make the necessary arrangements via this free chat room: http://login.meetcheap.com/conference,89538844 You can make the necessary arrangements with the chat room moderators Shockofgod or VivaYehshua. Alternatively, you can email Shockofgod via his YouTube email at http://www.youtube.com/user/shockofgod

If you want to know more about the debate, any and all questions should be directed to Shockofgod or VivaYehshua

    2. Michael,

Until you accept our debate offer and carry through with the debate, your comments will not be posted.

We only wish to dialogue with sincere people who have strong convictions - not evolutionist posers!

  2. I accepted, but I see the way you brainwash followers. Simply keeping my posts off simply because they reveal the truth. Such a deceitful tactic by thyself reveals more about your character and your motives than anything I read on this site. Your fraudulent use of misinformation and manipulation of rehtorigiological posts is self evident with your ultimatum. I accept never the less. A poser like you deserves a chance to expose themselves for what they are. It is no wonder why your kind are in decline within modern society.

    1. Michael,

We gave you easy to follow instructions to set up the debate. Until you follow through and the debate takes place, we remain skeptical. Too many cases of atheists/evolutionists backing out of debates have occurred. For example, the British Humanist Society agreed to debate Dr. William Lane Craig and then backed out of the debate.
